No. 1: Cleveland Cavaliers

I want to watch the Cavs for more reasons than just the return of LeBron James to Cleveland. Yes, that is a great story, but I want to see David Blatt at the head of this Cavs offense with so many weapons. Kyrie Irving is developing into an excellent point guard and will make a handful of All-Star teams in the NBA.

Kevin Love is a young superstar who can bring a lot of different skill sets to the table for an NBA team, like above average rebounding, three-point shooting and passing for a big man. Some of the complementary pieces are also fun to watch, like Shawn Marion and Dion Waiters. Plus, it’s always fun to see LeBron chase down a streaking guard on a fast break or to finish off a possession with his trademark high above the rim dunk.

I think this team will be much more fun to watch than the Heat the last few seasons. Those Heat teams excelled in fast break offense and had LeBron to take care of the shortcomings in half court offense. This Cavs team will be a solid fast break team but will thrive in the half court, with David Blatt running a lot of fun sets and plays for Kevin Love, LeBron James and Kyrie. The Cavs are the NBA’s new superteam and I want to see them play.
