8.) Kevin Love

Love does two things much better than most players: score and rebound.

In his last four seasons in Minnesota, Love averaged 22.7 points (43.3 percent shooting) and 13.8 rebounds.

Those numbers are unfair.

Love is a tad bit older than the other people listed so far (26), but he still has loads of great basketball ahead of him.

Naturally, his numbers will probably dip since he is now playing next to two other all-stars, but that doesn’t mean he is any less of a player.

7.) Blake Griffin

Remember when some people said Griffin was only a player with flashy dunks? Thankfully, those days are long behind us.

Griffin’s game has seen great progression since being the top pick in the 2009 draft, but it was a specific stint from last season that made his stock drastically higher.

In 18 straight games without Chris Paul (injury), Griffin averaged 27.5 points (57 percent shooting), 8.2 rebounds and 4.4 assists.

Griffin proved one major thing: he can be “the guy” for a franchise.

The former Oklahoma star is continuing to show the development of his offensive game this preseason. In the three games where he has played at least 30 minutes, Griffin has averaged 25 points on 54 percent shooting.

The scary thing is that he is only 25 years old. Who knows how much better he will get.
