Who are the top 5 NFL MVP candidates?

The NFL season is already seven weeks in and there have been quite a few surprises and some teams that weren’t expected to compete come out playing well. There have also been quite a few teams that were expected to compete begin the season poorly. It will be intriguing to see whether teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns can keep playing well, and also whether the New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, and multiple other teams can get back on the right track.

It will also be an interesting season when it comes to MVP voting, as there are quite a few players that are very much in the running for the award. There are six players in particular that are currently leading the way for the award, and all six are very close together. Voting will likely end up being very close between a few of these players once the season ends.

All of that being said, there is a fairly obvious ranking of these six players. Quite a few people will not agree with these rankings, but there will be some that do. It’s always difficult to balance how valuable the players are to their team along with the statistics that they are able to put up throughout the season.

What five players are currently at the top of the NFL MVP watch at this point in time?
