5. Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts

One of the most impressive players of the season so far has been Colts’ quarterback Andrew Luck, who has now led his team to five straight wins after a rough 0-2 start to the season. The Colts are looking like a serious Super Bowl contender, and that wouldn’t be the case if they didn’t have Luck under center. He has drawn comparisons to Peyton Manning in the past,

Luck has completed 65.9 percent of his passing attempts for 2,331 yards and 19 touchdowns, but has also thrown seven interceptions. Obviously the turnovers are something that are a major concern, but the Colts wouldn’t be 5-2 without having Luck as their quarterback. He has still been a very effective quarterback that has led his team to being one of the best teams in the AFC.

Indianapolis will likely end up making a run in the playoffs, but they will only go as far as their third-year quarterback can take them. He has improved drastically each season of his career, and has already shown that to be the case once again this year. The Colts believe that they haven’t even seen the best that he has to offer this year, and he will continue being very aggressive through the air.
