Which NFL teams are dangerously close to the panic button?

With the first seven weeks of the NFL season completed, the landscape of the league looks a lot different than I anticipated, than anyone anticipated. Three of the projected top five NFC teams have three losses before the midseason mark. I can’t remember that ever happening, although my lifetime is a very small sample size.

Heading into Week 8, the contenders are going to start to rise to the top, and the pretenders will fall by the wayside, hoping to make a big move in the NFL draft or free agency and give it another whirl next season.

Some teams haven’t given up the dream of making the playoffs or winning the Super Bowl this season yet, but they’re right on the borderline of being bounced from the conversation. Those teams now have their backs against the wall with slightly more than half of the season remaining.

It’s important to try not to panic, but some times it’s hard. Right, couples from Couples Retreat?
