San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos

Last season both the match ups between the Broncos and Chargers were good games with the road team coming out victorious in both games. I’m still going to go with the Broncos to win at home in this one. Not only is Peyton Manning playing great, but Denver’s edge rushing duo of Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware are starting to really be a force. The Chargers had some issues with Justin Houston and Tamba Hali last week and things aren’t going to get any better here. I think it will be a good game, but look for the Broncos to pull out the win.

Detroit Lions at Atlanta Falcons

This game comes down to one thing for me and that’s the dominant defensive front of the Lions going up against an Atlanta offensive line that has been absolutely devastated by injuries. I just don’t see how the Falcons can get enough going on offense with that absolute mismatch up front. Not only are the Falcons giving up one of their home games for this game in London, but they have to go against a defense that has been one of the best in the NFL so far. Oh yeah, and there’s a chance that some guy that goes my “Megatron” may be back from injury too. I’ll take the Lions.
