Chicago Bears at New England Patriots

I am an absolute glutton for punishment when it comes to the Chicago Bears. Seriously, I can’t stop picking them to win games and they just keep showing me that it’s a mistake week after week. Everyone and their mother has New England winning this game. I just keep thinking that all that offensive firepower has to go off at some point for Chicago. I’m hoping the combination of the blow up in the Bears locker room last week and the injuries on the defensive side of the ball for NE will finally lead to a big game for Jay Cutler and the Bears offense. That’s right, I’m once again picking the Bears to win (which means the Pats will probably take this one by double digits).

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers

The Seahawks and Panthers will battle it out this Sunday to see which team has the most disappointing defense after dominating on that side of the ball last season. For Seattle it’s been a huge drop off in pass rush from last season and for Carolina it’s the fact that they are allowing the worst yards per carry in the NFL on their run defense. I think that poor run defense for the Panthers will allow Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson to control the clock and pull out a close road win for Seattle.
