Chicago Bears‘ Brandon Marshall is not a fan of the media

After a horrendous 51-23 loss to the New England Patriots, it’s understandable that the Chicago Bears weren’t a fan of the media. The team is 3-5; while that’s not the worst in the league (hello, Oakland), it’s most certainly nowhere near satisfactory for the struggling NFC North team.

As he headed to the locker room, though, Brandon Marshall threw a verbal jab towards the curious members of the Massachusetts media.

“Put your ears closer to the door”, he taunted.

The thirty-year-old wide receiver first became the center of media attention (more so than normal) last weekend, when Lamarr Houston was overheard yelling in the locker room in defense of Marshall. The team has been someone tense behind closed doors, although they seem to be trying to cover it up in the media with pleas that Marshall is simply passionate about the game.

The wide receiver has insisted that the team’s record is unacceptable, and there have been reports of him bad-mouthing quarterback Jay Cutler off the field.

The team will go on to play the Green Bay Packers next weekend, hoping to get back on a winning trend as the season moves forward.
