Arizona Cardinals (-1.5) over Philadelphia Eagles

This is arguably the best game of the weekend, as it pits two teams with 5-1 records against one another. However, the majority of the public seems to be on Philadelphia as the “flashier” team, with a general skepticism with regard to Arizona as a team with a “fluky” record.

I like the Cards.

It is unquestionably true that Arizona was fortunate to escape the Drew Stanton-Logan Thomas era with this 5-1 mark, but with Carson Palmer back, the Cardinals suddenly have a top-flight offense to pair with their solid defensive group. With that said, it is nearly as important to be playing against Nick Foles on the road in this spot, and until proven otherwise, I will continue to fade the Eagles in that situation.
