Fantasy Football Waiver Wire 2014: Top 10 Week 9 pickups
Carson Palmer-QB-Arizona Cardinals (13.4%)
Palmer is the top QB pickup for the second week in a row as he continues to come back and show he’s back in form with a bevy of offensive weapons at his disposal in Bruce Arians attack in Arizona. Palmer showed Sunday he’s fully recovered from his shoulder issue connecting on a pair of deep touchdown passes.
Sunday’s two-touchdown, 329-yard performance gave Palmer exactly two touchdown passes in all four of the games he’s played in this season. He’s thrown for at least 250 yards in every game too, and coming down the stretch he faces a pretty favorable schedule outside of a Seahawks-49ers finish to the season.
Palmer takes his Cardinals to Big D this week for a good game against the Cowboys who will be on a short week with an unproven pass defense. There’s definitely potential for another big game for Palmer as there is almost any time he’s healthy since the offense he’s in is loaded with weapons and very pass-heavy.
