Green Bay Packers (5-3)

In my opinion, Aaron Rodgers’ message to Packers fans is still true: R-E-L-A-X.

Green Bay sits at 5-3 following the Sunday night loss to the New Orleans Saints, but there’s a lot to look forward to for the Packers. For one, the Pack could have easily been 6-2 had Rodgers not tweaked his hamstring.

The Packers will now enter their bye week, allowing Rodgers an extra week to rest his sore hamstring and come back strong in the second half of the season.

Rodgers and Green Bay will come off the bye against the struggling Chicago Bears–a team they beat 38-17 in Week 4–before the home crowd at Lambeau.

Also in the Packers’ favor is the fact that some of their tougher matchups–which include games against the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots and Detroit Lions–will all come at home.

With a strong defense that ranks top three in interceptions and offense led by Rodgers and complemented by Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Eddie Lacy, the Packers are poised for a second half run and are my pick to win the NFC North.
