2.) New Orleans Saints

At 3-4, the Saints are nearly in the same boat as the Bears, but they are even more disappointing since they were the Super Bowl pick for a lot of people.

2012 was an embarrassingly bad year for the Saints, but they had a quick turnaround in 2013 and looked like the team we have known for years. One of the main reasons they were able to improve in 2013 was their improved defense that was fourth in points per game at just 19.5.

I’m not exactly sure why, but that defense isn’t playing in New Orleans this year. Through eight games, the Saints are allowing 26.9 points per game which is 26th in the league.

Their offense is still one of the league’s best, but they aren’t going to make any noise with the defense they are playing right now.
