1.) Adrian Peterson

It would be hard for anyone to make me believe the fall of Adrian Peterson isn’t the most disappointing thing to come from this season.

His wrongdoings are well documented now, and I’d prefer to not bring them up again.

Peterson hasn’t seen the field since his disturbing news broke after the season opener, and no signs point to him returning this year.

I believe Peterson’s story is the most disappointing because it brings out the truth about sports: we really don’t know these guys. Peterson appeared to be one of the best athletes in the world as far as being a good person is concerned, and then news like this comes out and we discover the truth.

Peterson was one of my favorite athletes ever, and he was the best running back I have ever truly watched.

I don’t know what the future holes for him, but I do know that won’t really care.
