New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers

The Saints we have all been waiting for in 2014 finally showed up last week. So now the question is was that a true return to form or just a one game aberration? This may sound crazy given the fact that they have Drew Brees, but the key this week may be for the Saints to keep their offense balanced by pounding the football since the Panthers have struggled to stop the run this season. I’m going to pick the Saints to keep things rolling, but I think this could be a really good Thursday night match up.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cleveland Browns

If I wasn’t before, I’m now officially down on the Buccaneers after that home loss to Minnesota last week. I think the Browns are basically a better version of the Vikings (solid defense with just enough offense to get by) and with the game in Cleveland I don’t see this going well for Tampa Bay. I think Brian Hoyer has a good day and the Browns win by double digits.
