New York Jets at Kansas City Chiefs (*Armchair QB Lock Of The Week*)

This is pretty simple, the Chiefs are 4-1 in their last five games with wins over the Dolphins, Patriots, and Chargers. The Jets are imploding, going to Mike Vick at QB, and their coach isn’t likely to last the season at this pace. I can’t see things going well for Vick in the noisy Arrowhead Stadium against a Chiefs defense that had seven sacks last game and are allowing the fewest passing yards in the NFL. The Chiefs are the easy and smart pick in this one, thus making it my “Lock of the Week”.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals

At this point of the season if a team still hasn’t won a single game then it seems pretty foolish to even consider picking them to win. With the Jags going on the road to Cincinnati it doesn’t really seem necessary to break down match ups. Jacksonville will keep it respectable, but the Bengals are simply the better team, period.
