Trick: Philadelphia Eagles (5-2)

So much has been made of Chip Kelly, the Eagles’ offense, LeSean McCoy and yada yada, yet Philadelphia isn’t even the leader in its own division.

You can tell me all you want how good the Eagles are and how they’ve won five games. But then I’ll tell you that the combined record of the teams they’ve beat is 14-24 and then you’ll get mad and we won’t be friends anymore. And that makes me sad.

I think the Eagles can be scary good if LeSean McCoy can mirror his performance against the New York Giants for the rest of the season and if Nick Foles can make some better decisions with the football–both of which I don’t see happening.

Philadelphia’s defense is subpar at best and will be exposed in the second half against the Packers and Cowboys.

The Eagles are fun to watch, but they’re not a serious contender.
