Gillette Stadium No Longer Covered In Snow (Photo)

The Peyton Manning and Tom Brady matchup on Sunday is one of the most anticipated games of the day, but there doesn’t look like we will have the blizzard we thought we’d get.
This morning, when the world was checking into Foxboro and Gillette Stadium, it looked like the snow-pocalypse was upon us. The whiteout conditions were intense to say the least, but things have lightened up since then and the game later today won’t be as messy as it seemed at first.

As Mike Reiss from ESPN points out, you can’t even tell it snowed anymore at Gillette Stadium as the grounds crew has cleaned up the field after the blizzard conditions we saw earlier this morning. It’s no longer snowing, which helps, but all credit goes to the grounds crew for getting the field cleaned up well before kick off.
For reference, this is what the field looked like earlier in the day:
That’s serious work put in by the grounds crew by the Patriots and it’s something that may change the game. Where it was looking like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady were going to have to throw in the snow, they will now have a clean field to work with and that’s all thanks to the hard work of the grounds crew.
