Houston Texans (+2) over Philadelphia Eagles

The Texans are the opposite of the public side as a short home underdog. Naturally, I love them in this spot, even against the “better” team in Philadelphia.

The Eagles are a perfect 4-0 in their home building, but just 1-2 away from Philadelphia, and home underdogs are generally one of the better plays in the NFL. Houston has defined quarterback issues, but provided that Ryan Fitzpatrick can simply “manage the game”, Arian Foster is playing as well as any running back in the NFL and J.J. Watt is (unquestionably) the best defensive player in the league.

You may have to hold your nose, but I believe that Houston is the right side.
