Losers: Robert Griffin III, Washington

In the first half, Griffin was 8 of 13 for 112 and an interception. His final totals aren’t much better, with 251 yards, 1 touchdown and that interception. We should have expected this—the guy was bound to be rusty.

That’s why when people asked me whether they should start RG3 in fantasy, I said no way.

It’s not all RG3, mind you. Five sacks, another quarterback hit and 10 hurries is no way to do business. Of course, some of that is Griffin, who holds the ball a bit too long when he scrambles.

This will probably pass, but we really are in the weeds when it comes to Griffin and his future. How good is he? Can he stay healthy? Can he be effective?

Washington has a ton riding on the answers to those questions.
