Dwight Howard Calls Rockets ‘The Swag Champs’ (Video)

In a pre-game chant, Dwight Howard called the Houston Rockets the “Swag Champs”.

It looks like Dwight Howard is up to his free and fun ways. Prior to the Houston Rockets matchup against the Miami Heat, Howard was seen via the teams official Instagram page calling his team “the swag champs”. It’s pretty hilarious.

Say what you want, but Howard, amidst constant critiques about his style of play, is one of the guys in the NBA who isn’t afraid to show the fun side of himself.

This is the guy everyone fell in love with as he climbed the ranks as a NBA player. The skits. The jokes. His NBA Slam Dunk routine. All of that. And it looks like his teammates enjoy that side, a great thing to see, especially after the “Dwight-mare” tore the Orlando Magic lockerroom to parts and he wasn’t well-received in his lone year as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Up until tonight’s game, the “swag champs” were 4-0, making themselves one of the few teams in the league to still be undefeated, and a lot of that is thanks to Howard who averaged 15 points on 60% shooting, 10.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.3 blocks in those games.
