Pittsburgh Steelers D/ST (20.9%)

Pittsburgh’s defense came up large last week on Sunday Night Football against the Ravens forcing a pair of turnovers and adding four sacks in their win over their division rival.  The Steelers D has been up and down this year mostly due to a number of injuries to key contributors, but they’re lined up nicely for a big week in week 10.

While the Steelers offense is firing on all cylinders, the Jets offense is a mess and badly in need of a bye week.  Unfortunately, they have one more game before the bye as they host the Steelers on Sunday. Pittsburgh should be able to force Michael Vick to press which usually results in multiple turnovers which would be a big game for Pittsburgh’s defense.

The Steelers have a favorable schedule beyond this week too as they face the Titans before their bye in week 12.  As a one or two week pickup, the Steelers are the leading defense in our 10 waiver wire pickups although they don’t have the playmakers to be a full time option for your team the rest of the season.
