Carson Palmer-QB-Arizona Cardinals (42.8%)

As the QB landscape continues to shift with Nick Foles being the latest starter to go down, Carson Palmer continues his steady play and should be the first name you look for if you have to hit the waiver wire for a quarterback.  It’s amazing how available he is given his steady performance all season, but many owners heard about his shoulder issues early in the year and assumed he was done.

Palmer has been proving his doubters wrong whenever he is healthy enough to take the field throwing for multiple touchdowns and 249 yards or more in every start this season.  His season-low 249-yard game came against Dallas this last week in the same week he set his season high for touchdowns with three. His offense is well-stocked with weapons, and he’s led them to the top of the NFC.

The coming weeks could be tough for Palmer and his owners as he takes on the Rams, Lions, and Seahawks the next three weeks, but he’s been so steady and virtually matchup-proof that I think he’s still the QB you should target if you want steady, reliable production instead of the higher-risk Mark Sanchez who will also get plenty of looks on the waiver wire this week.
