Martavis Bryant-WR-Pittsburgh Steelers (21.9%)

Bryant was inactive for the first six weeks of the NFL season, but he’s immediately emerged as a huge red zone threat for the suddenly potent Steelers passing attack.  Big Ben has been dialed in throwing six touchdowns in each of the last two weeks, and part of the reason for his success is the emergence of Bryant.

Bryant has found the end zone five times in his first three NFL games including twice in each of the last two games.  He continues to play a large percentage of the Steelers snaps at their third wide receiver spot and could earn more of a share if he can pass Markus Wheaton who has been inconsistent in his first season starting across from Antonio Brown.

Until he does get on the field more often, he’s only a touchdown-dependent play at flex, but he has huge upside if he can keep it going.  It would seem inevitable that the Steelers offensive juggernaut would have to slow down at some point, but this week they take on the Jets struggling secondary.  Bryant can be plugged in as a flex play if you need him for this week, but his long-term upside is somewhat limited since the Steelers have built their offense on Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell. He’s still one of our week 10 waiver wire pickups, but his ceiling is not quite as high as the next WR on our list.
