Fantasy Football 2014: Top 10 Week 10 Waiver Wire Pickups
Justin Hunter-WR-Tennessee Titans (18.6%)
If you are past many of your bye weeks and can afford to take a risk on your receiver with huge upside going forward but don’t need immediate dividends, take a look at former Volunteer Justin Hunter. Hunter is the best receiver on the Titans and he should get plenty of targets going forward in an offense that I think has potential to grow quickly the rest of the season.
Before the Titans bye week in week 9, the Titans gave the keys to their offense to big-armed rookie Zach Mettenberger. Mettenberger has already developed a connection with Hunter that was evident both in preseason and in their week eight start. Although Hunter only hauled in four passes for 31 yards, he did find the end zone for the second time this season.
Hunter has sky-high upside and should get the targets to deliver. There is serious risk involved due to the lack of experience in the Titans, but the potential for a breakout the rest of the way makes him a good stash-and-see pickup if your roster allows for it.
