5. Dallas Cowboys

One of the biggest surprises of the NFL season thus far, and are currently sitting at 6-3 and are very much alive in the playoff race. They were expected to be a good offensive team, but their defense wasn’t expected to be good enough to put them in contention for a playoff spot in a very tough NFC.

That being said, DeMarco Murray’s production has been extremely impressive and he has helped carry the offense. Romo on the other hand has done an excellent job of balancing out the offense through the air, but the back injury that he has suffered is going to be difficult for them to get through.

Dallas has the talent to make the playoffs, but their defense needs to continue helping out the way that they have been at times this year. Health is going to be a major factor as well, but it appears that Romo will be back on the field this weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It will be interesting to see if the Cowboys are able to continue their impressive play down the stretch of the season.
