No. 20-17

20. Brian Hoyer – Cleveland Browns (+4)

Brian Hoyer makes a strong four spot jump up the rankings this week as he continues to prove that he can make big plays without constantly turning the ball over. Hoyer looks good and the Browns would be foolish to turn to Johnny Manziel any time soon.

19. Jay Cutler – Chicago Bears (-1)

Here’s to hoping that the bye week helped snap Cutler out of his funk because a QB with his talent and incredible playmakers should be producing a lot more than what he currently is. I still have to believe that at some point this season he’ll start producing big numbers.

18. Matthew Stafford – Detroit Lions (-3)

To my eyes, Matthew Stafford and Jay Cutler are pretty similar in that they have immense talent and some good weapons at their disposal but are currently failing to capitalize on them. Stafford certainly has the talent to be much higher on this list, but for right now, even though the Lions are winning his play still leaves you wanting more.

17. Ryan Tannehill – Miami Dolphins (+4)

Ryan Tannehill is another QB that is climbing the list this week as he jumps four spots after he and the Dolphins dismantled the San Diego Chargers. If Tannehill can just replicate that performance going forward then we’ll see him climb higher and higher in these rankings.
