Welcome to the week 10 edition of the Armchair Quarterback’s Guide to the NFL. Every week I give you a game by game preview and prediction so that you can go into this week’s lineup of NFL games knowing what to expect. These game predictions factor in previous head to head match ups, how the teams’ strengths and weaknesses line up, and a little bit of my own gut instinct. Hopefully the end result is the best game previews you can find online.

Last week was a good week for the Armchair QB picks, finishing 11-2 for week nine. That brings my season record to 88-45-1. That’s starting to get me back amongst the best records of the top guys at all the national sites. I also hit on my “Lock of the Week” pick which brings my record on lock picks this season to 8-1. So if you’re looking for a good survival pool pick this week I’ve got you covered there as well.

This week’s slate of games is an interesting mix of games with clear cut favorites (Denver/Oakland) and games that look like they could be very close (Miami/Detroit).
