Ray Allen was seen in Chicago, leading to speculation that he is considering signing with the Chicago Bulls.
Ray Allen is quite the intriguing figure in basketball right now. The knockdown shooter is reportedly deciding whether to return for his 19th NBA season or retire and many basketball fans are extremely interested to find out what he’s ultimately going to do.

It seemed possible that we had a clue about Allen’s plans when the shooting guard was spotted in Chicago. Many speculated he could be in town to meet with the Chicago Bulls.

However, it turns out, Allen is not in Chicago because of the Bulls.

So, Allen’s situation remains a mystery.
Still, if Allen ultimately decides to play again, there’s a strong chance he signs with the Bulls’ biggest current rival, the Cleveland Cavaliers, instead of Chicago.
Allen is known to be great friends with Cavaliers star LeBron James from their time playing together with the Miami Heat. Plus, at 39, Allen surely is hoping to compete for a championship and the Cavaliers present that opportunity (as do the Bulls).
Allen averaged 9.6 points and 2.8 assists per game this past season with Miami.
