1. Toronto Raptors

Perhaps the obvious choice for the number one spot in this category has to be the Eastern Conference leading Toronto Raptors. They have opened the season extremely hot, and they are a much improved from last season. Toronto was expected to be one of the top five teams in the East this year, and they are showing that they might be even better than the expectations.

Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan are the team leaders once again this season, and they are doing an excellent job of working together. They also have a young, improving big man in Jonas Valanciunas, and a very deep roster. Terrence Ross is extremely talented, and they have players like Patrick Patterson, Amir Johnson, Louis Williams, Tyler Hansbrough, and Greivis Vasquez on the roster as well.

The Eastern Conference is wide open this season, and the Raptors are one of the most talented teams in the conference. They have built a very strong roster that feeds and plays off of each other very well, and they look to have a chance this season if they keep playing at their current level. Toronto fans are some of the most hardcore in the game, and they deserve to have another successful season after a big year last season.
