Buffalo Bills (+1.5) over Kansas City Chiefs

Home underdogs are almost always the right side, and this is another example. More than 75% of the early action has been on the Chiefs side, and because Kansas City is the team that the “public” would perceive as the better club, that should be no surprise.

Still, the line has moved in Buffalo’s direction, and that is a simple sign of “sharp” action on the Bills. I am a skeptic of Kansas City on both sides of the ball, where injuries should have dismantled a defense that continues to fight and Alex Smith continues to lead an overachieving offense.

More than anything, though, this is a blind “trend” bet on a home dog and against the public. Have at it.
