No. 12-9

12. Colin Kaepernick – San Francisco 49ers (+1)

It seems like there are a lot of people that are losing confidence in Colin Kaepernick but I’m still a believer in his abilities. Kaep has the best physical tools in the NFL and just needs to refine them. His comeback against the Saints showed off some of those freakish abilities. He’s not a finished product yet, but he’s already one of the best all around weapons in the NFL.

11. Eli Manning – New York Giants (+1)

Eli Manning didn’t have a fantastic day against the Seahawks, but his run game and defense didn’t help him out very much. Eli has still had a better season than I expected after how bad things looked in the preseason. The addition of Odell Beckham Jr. to his offensive weapons looks like it may pay dividends sooner rather than later.

10. Matt Ryan – Atlanta Falcons (+1)

Matt Ryan rejoins the top ten coming off of a win against the Buccaneers. Ryan has elite talent and great wide receivers. The only thing holding him back is his offensive line. With a little better protection Ryan could challenge for the top five, but I’m just not sure that’s in the cards for this season.

9. Russell Wilson – Seattle Seahawks

Coming off of a week where Wilson threw two interceptions and no TD passes you would expect him to drop in the rankings but when you rush for over 100 yards and a TD it makes up for the passing shortcomings. If Wilson hadn’t rushed for 500 yards this season (15th most of anyone in the NFL) he would be several spots lower on this list. Right now his legs are saving him.
