No. 4-1

4. Andrew Luck – Indianapolis Colts (+1)

Andrew Luck is stock piling statistics as he continues the most prolific season in the NFL this year. Luck may not have quite the efficiency of the top three QBs on this list, but his talent is undeniable. He has quickly become one of the NFL’s elite QBs and all around players which is exactly what Indianapolis was hoping for when they let Peyton Manning walk in order to draft him.

3. Peyton Manning – Denver Broncos (-1)

Speaking of Peyton Manning, he actually drops one spot this week despite throwing for 340 yards and five TDs. That doesn’t really seem fair, does it? The bottom line is that there are 3-4 QBs that can all make a strong case for being the best in the NFL and Manning is obviously one of them. He may be at number three this week but he could easily be back in the top spot again soon.

2. Tom Brady – New England Patriots (-1)

Tom Brady stays ahead of Peyton Manning who he outperformed in their head to head matchup, but still falls one spot to make way for the new number one QB. Brady has to go head to head with Andrew Luck this week so it will be interesting to see if he can keep himself ahead of the youngster who is only a couple of spots behind him.

1. Aaron Rodgers – Green Bay Packers (+2)

As I watched Aaron Rodgers completely dismantle the floundering Bears this week I came to the conclusion that there isn’t a QB that looks better right now than he does. Rodgers has the smarts and accuracy of Brady and Manning but with a stronger arm and more mobility. If the eye test doesn’t convince you perhaps the fact that Rodgers has a higher QB rating, QBR, and PFF grade than either Brady or Manning will do the job. If I had to pick one QB today to win me a game with everything else equal I would pick Aaron Rodgers.

So that’s the list for this week. Are there any QBs that you feel are ranked too high or too low? If so, why do you think so and how would you rank them? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Thanks for reading.
