4. Steve Mason – Philadelphia Flyers (Zombie Masks) Since being traded from the Columbus Blue Jackets to the Philadelphia Flyers, Steve Mason has had several zombie-themed masks. The first one featured zombified versions of famous figures from Philadelphia history, including Benjamin Franklin and Betsy Ross. His next mask featured zombified versions of team mates Claude Giroux, Jakub Voracek, and Wayne Simmonds. In another mask, Mason got some inspiration from Eastern State Penitentiary, the infamous prison located in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia, a location Mason visited soon after being traded to the Flyers. The mask features a zombie Al Capone and Frank Nitty. Mason is a history buff, but he appears to have allowed some artistic license to be taken with both inmates in non-period orange jumpsuits.
