If you’re playing fantasy basketball either in daily or season-long leagues, check out these top five waiver wire pickups and value options for fantasy basketball November 13.

More from Brooklyn Nets

The NBA only has four games on today’s typically-lighter Thursday schedule with a pair of great games on tap for TNT tonight and two other games which could be interesting too.  The Bulls and Raptors mean in a great Eastern Conference matchup while the Nets head west to face Golden State who will look to bounce back from back-t0-back losses after starting the season 5-0.  The Memphis-Sacramento is also an intriguing one to see how legit the Kings really are as they travel to Memphis where the Grizz are always a tough game.  The only real downer on the schedule is the 76ers visiting Dallas to take on the Mavs who will probably crush Phily and drop them to 0-8.  All of these games do offer owners a chance to make some important fantasy additions.

The goal of this post is to highlight some of the lesser known players in a good place to contribute for your team tonight. Whether you’re playing daily leagues or a season-long league, these players are starting to emerge as contributors and can be added from the waiver wire or as a value option in daily play. For a benchmark, we’ll only include players who are available in more than half of ESPN standard leagues as we do in all our waiver wire posts to keep things realistic.

Here are the top 5 waiver wire pickups for fantasy basketball November 13:

67. McLemore seems to be finding his footing in his second season in the NBA.  In each of the last four games for the Kings, he’s played 28 minutes or more and scored in double digits in each of those games.  In each of his last two games, he’s knocked in four triples, and he also contributes solid rebounding and steal numbers.  He’s the most balanced all-around option available at the right price for fantasy basketball November 13.. 6.4% owned. Sacramento Kings. Ben McLemore. 1. player

Bogdanovic has been starting at shooting guard for the Nets and has seen his minutes increase to over 30 minutes a game in his last three.  In those games, he’s averaged two three-pointers, almost 15 points, four rebounds, an assist, and a steal.  As long as he keeps playing so many minutes, he’ll contribute some solid numbers.  . 4.2% owned. Brooklyn Nets. Bojan Bogdanovic. 3. player. 147

93. Big men are always hard to find on the waiver wire which is why Sims is so relevant since he’s playing big minutes in the middle for the 76ers.  If you need boards and high percentages, Sims is worth a look.  In each of his last three games, he has pulled in eight rebounds and has added double-digit points in each of his last two games.  He usually doesn’t get blocks, but he can still be valuable as a rebounder for a one-game big-man plugin.. 2.6% owned. Philadelphia 76ers. Henry Sims. 4. player

5. player. 24. With all the controversy swirling around Derrick Rose, his backup that is making the most of his opportunities to step in for the ailing star is Aaron Brooks.  Brooks role is still iffy when Rose is healthy, but he can contribute even in limited time as he showed on Monday dropping 10 points, two steals, two boards, and an assist in just 11 minutes.  If and when Brooks gets extended run, he’s even more valuable so he makes an interesting speculative pickup if you need PG production. . 28.8% owned. Chicago Bulls. Aaron Brooks
