Up: Marshawn Lynch, RB, Seattle Seahawks

Another obvious choice for trending up would be Seattle Seahawks’ running back Marshawn Lynch who is coming off of a huge game against the New York Giants. He hadn’t had a monster performance since the beginning of the season, but came through with 140 yards and four touchdowns on just 21 carries.

If the Seahawks are going to get things going again and get back on the right track, they are going to need Lynch to step up. Russell Wilson is a great quarterback, but he isn’t going to be able to carry everything on his shoulders without a running game. Lynch will need to continue playing at a high level, and will need to pick up his leadership role once again.

There is no denying the potential that Lynch has, and that he can turn his season back around and help get his team back on the right track. That being said, he has to come out with the mindset that he had against the Giants. His stock is certainly trending up after that last game, and the Seahawks are very confident with him moving forward.
