Down: Jay Cutler, QB, Chicago Bears

Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears’ offense was expected to be one of the most high-powered in the NFL, but they have been anything but that. Chicago is currently sitting at 3-6 after their depressing loss to the Green Bay Packers, and Cutler and company haven’t looked anything close to what the expectations were calling for before the season. The team is searching for answers, but they are on life support as far as their playoff hopes are concerned.

It’s hard to blame the failure on Cutler this year, but he hasn’t helped either. He has thrown untimely interceptions and hasn’t shown any type of leadership skills. Over the last couple of weeks especially he has seen his team get blown out twice by at least 28 points.

That being said, Cutler has seen his stock plummet in a big way this season. He went from being a quarterback that many expected to be in for a breakout season, to a quarterback that many believe is holding the Bears’ offense back. Either way, his stock is down and it doesn’t look like it will turn around and rise again anytime soon.
