1. Chicago Bears

Perhaps the most obvious team that desperately needs to put a win on the board this season is the Chicago Bears. They are coming off of a major blowout loss to the Green Bay Packers, and are sitting at 3-6 and are quickly falling off the pace in the NFC North. It doesn’t appear that they’re going to make the playoffs, but getting a win this week over division opponent Minnesota would be nice for them.

Jay Cutler hasn’t been able to find his groove with the offense this year, and they have been a major disappointment. The Bears simply don’t have the necessary talent on defense to pick up for their offense sputtering, and it has shown in a big way. If Chicago wants any chance at coming back and competing for an NFC playoff spot, they are going to need to come up with a convincing win to get the ship back on the right track.

Minnesota isn’t a bad football team, and there is definitely going to be a challenge with the poor play that the Bears have showed lately. Cutler and the offense have the potential to turn things around, but they must figure out how to do that immediately this week. If they lose to the Vikings this week, they can kiss any chance at the playoffs that they still have goodbye.
