Detroit Lions (+1) over Arizona Cardinals

This is simply a pick against Drew Stanton.

It normally isn’t a great idea to take Matthew Stafford on the road, but this year, the Lions have a real, live defense and that is the difference. Detroit has the personnel to make a quarterback on Stanton’s level (average at best) cringe, and with Detroit getting healthy on offense, that is enough to send me their way.

It is conceivable that Drew Stanton has become a serviceable quarterback, and he has led Arizona to victories this season, but he’s going to have to prove it to me again in this spot against one of the best defenses in the league.
