New England Patriots (+3) over Indianapolis Colts

When we last saw the Patriots, they were throttling the Denver Broncos and looking the part of the best team in the NFL. After a bye week, I expect New England to pick up right where they left off, and if you’re going to give me three points to take them, I’ll do it and run.

Picking against Andrew Luck is a bit terrifying, but at the same time, Tom Brady also fits that description. The difference here is that I trust New England’s defensive personnel more than Indy’s, and the extra week to prepare should not be discounted in this case.

If this was a “pick ’em” spot, I would probably stay away, but if you can get a field goal, take it.
