2. Los Angeles Lakers

Dear god…

Is there a way the Lakers can forfeit every game this season?

Other than watching Kobe Bryant shoot all the time, no one wants to see this team play. They’re terrible, and possibly the worst team in the NBA. I know the Philadelphia hasn’t won yet and they’re 0-9, but the Lakers would probably lose at least six out of ten games to the 76ers.

That’s how bad the Lakers are. I’m not even going to waste your time going into all the aspects of the Lakers being horrible. It’s just a big waste of time.

How do the Lakers salvage this season?

Solution: Get rid of everyone. Every. Single. Player. No one wants to play with Kobe, and most of the team has some trade value. The Lakers are better off 76er-ing this season, but they’re too proud, which makes it even more sad that they’re this terrible.

What Will Actually Happen: We all know what the Lakers are going to do, right?

When the first high-profile, big-contract guy becomes available this season, the Lakers are going to pounce and work out a trade to pair him with Kobe for the next few seasons. That’s what the Lakers do. I don’t know if it’s going to be one of the Nets big contracts, like Brook Lopez, Joe Johnson, or Deron Williams, or if it’ll be Ty Lawson, or David Lee, but the Lakers are going to make a big trade this season, I promise you that.
