NFL Week 11 Winners and Losers: Patriots, Packers trend up, Bills, Washington crash to Earth
By Andrew Garda
Loser: Washington
Washington is so bad they made the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look good. So bad, Josh McCown almost looked like he deserved to be an NFL starter. So bad that the Washington Post reported that Robert Griffin III was calling everyone out.
“Dumpster fire” has been so overused as a descriptive term this season that it really doesn’t hold meaning anymore. Even if it did, it doesn’t really convey how bad this team is.
A description like “nuclear meltdown of apocalyptic proportions” covers it better. An “extinction level event” might work also.
Some of you will moan in the comments that I am not writing the name of the Washington Football Team and that’s your right. However, let me point out that if you want to be angry at someone for something, you might want to look at the team which is laying eggs on a weekly basis this season.
If there is a problem, it’s not my stance on a racist nickname.
It’s that this team is a mess, traded too many picks for Griffin and is buried on the bottom of a weak NFC East.
Be angry about that.
