Jordan Matthews-WR-Philadelphia Eagles (41.7%)

Matthews is far from a flash-in-the-pan rookie who spiked a week because he had a rapport with a backup.  Throughout the season even before Mark Sanchez took over under center, Matthews had been growing in importance in the Eagles attack in his rookie season out of Vanderbilt after the Eagles took him in the second round.  Matthews had clearly passed Riley Cooper in line for targets even before Nick Foles injury.

The last two weeks since Foles has been injured, Mark Sanchez has taken Matthews production to the next level.  In his last two games, Matthews has hauled in 12 of his 17 targets for 245 yards and three touchdowns.  Although much of his production came late this week against Green Bay, his 107 yards on five catches with a touchdown were solid enough to keep him in your lineup going forward if you have him or make him the top waiver wire pickup if he’s still available.

This week, the Eagles host the Titans as Tennessee plays on a short week after their surprisingly strong showing on Monday Night Football.  The Eagles system has been so effective, though, that Matthews is virtually matchup-proof at this point and should be owned in all formats and started in most.
