Jarvis Landry-WR-Miami Dolphins (9.7%)

One of Tannehill’s quickly-maturing weapons who continues to get targets and grow into the Dolphins role for him is rookie Jarvis Landry.  Landry’s long-term upside is huge, but he’s also showing he’s a reliable option in the short-term.

He scored one of Miami’s touchdowns this past Thursday night against the Bills catching all five of his targets for 46 yards to go with the score.  Last week in Detroit, Landry was targeted ten times and finished with seven catches for 53 yards although he didn’t find the end zone.  Landry is especially effectively for PPR leagues due to his volume of catches and typically low average yards-per-catch.  He’s caught three passes in every game since week one, and he’s found the end zone twice in his last three games.

Like Tannehill, Landry looks set up well for the next few weeks, so pick up the emerging fantasy option if you need a receiver from the waiver wire and you can’t grab Josh Gordon, Jordan Matthews, or another mostly-owned option who someone gave up on too early.  Landry can be started with confidence at your WR3 or flex play in PPR leagues, while in non-PPR leagues he’s a little bit more of a longshot play at those roles.
