Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Knight is enjoying one of–if not the best–season of his career. It really seems like the young, athletic scorer turned a corner under Jason Kidd and is doing a bang up job as the Bucks’ initiator.
But, man, did he screw up Tuesday night against the Brooklyn Nets.
Well, first he did everything right. He played strong defense, got the steal and took off in transition toward the rim for a potential game-winning layup that could have put away the victory for the Bucks. Watch what happened next.
Not your best day, Knight. The Bucks and Nets are still going at it too. Now in a third overtime period, the score is tied at 112. Maybe Knight will get a chance to redeem himself. So far, he has 16 points on 5-of-18 shooting, two rebounds and six assists in 44 minutes. Oh, and one embarrassing flub.
