No. 20-17

20. Andy Dalton – Cincinnati Bengals (+3)

Two weeks ago we saw “Bad Andy” and now this past weekend “Good Andy” was back in action. Dalton has games where he looks fantastic, but unfortunately he has far too many games where things turn ugly. There just isn’t enough consistency to rank him much higher.

19. Cam Newton – Carolina Panthers (-1)

The slide continues for Cam Newton who is simply getting pummeled behind a bad offensive line. I can’t see the Panthers going anywhere this season and they really need to invest in that line before Newton has any real chance of fighting his way back up this list.

18. Brian Hoyer – Cleveland Browns (-1)

Brian Hoyer had a bump in the road this past week with a loss to the Houston Texans, but he’s still having a great season. Hoyer uses the long ball well and he compensates for a relatively low completion percentage by hitting deep passes and making some big plays.

17. Jay Cutler – Chicago Bears (+2)

Jay Cutler is another QB who’s numbers are better than his actual play. That having been said, he did look much better this past week against the Vikings. If he can just play like that the rest of the way he could still find himself back in the top half of this list by season’s end.
