The Armchair Quarterback’s Guide To The NFL: Week 12
St. Louis Rams at San Diego Chargers
While the Rams did a great job of knocking off the Broncos last week I’m still not buying them as a legit winning team just yet. While San Diego looked sluggish against Oakland last week I still think that Philip Rivers and company can muster enough offense at home to outscore Shaun Hill and the Rams. It won’t always be pretty as the St. Louis front seven gets after Rivers, but I think SD pulls this one out.

Miami Dolphins at Denver Broncos
Upset alert! Maybe it’s the KC fan in me breaking through again, but this game would scare me to death if I was a Broncos fan. While it seems crazy to pick Peyton Manning to lose a second game in a row and especially with this game being at home, the Broncos have serious injury problems on offense and Miami has a good enough front seven to harass Manning much the same way that the Rams did. With the Dolphins playing well and the Broncos banged up I’m officially calling for the upset.
