No. 2 #18
The second most popular number in the NFL, according to jersey sales, is No. 18. The success of this number comes primarily from Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, who led his team to the Super Bowl last season during a record-breaking campaign. Manning is undeniably one of the most popular players in the NFL, so his jersey accounting for 77 percent of the sales isn’t too surprising.
There are other contributors to this list, like Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green, who accounts for 21 percent of the sales. Even Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb wears No. 18 and contributes to this number’s sales.
