Joakim Noah is a passionate player who has never been afraid to express his emotions on and off the basketball court so it was no surprise that the reigning NBA defensive player of the year lost his mind when he was called for a foul after DeMarcus Cousins flopped late in the third quarter on Thursday night.
Check out the video below where Noah barely touches the 6-11, 270 pound Cousins who reacts like he was just sucker punched by Mike Tyson and could barely keep his feet under him, drawing the foul and setting Noah off.
Cousins is a great young talent who is really coming into his own this season for the 7-5 Kings with 22.5 points and 11.8 rebounds per game, but flopping is no way to earn respect from your peers in the NBA and is a surefire way to have people looking at your game for all the wrong reasons.
He’s better than that.
Cousins and the Kings had the last laugh as they beat the Bulls 103-88 with Cousins going off for 22 points, 14 rebounds and four assists and one incredible flop.
