Miami Dolphins (+7) over Denver Broncos

We’re getting the worst of this line, as Miami opened as an 8.5-point underdog, but the “sharp” action has been on the side of the road underdog here. Denver is still scary in that Peyton Manning and company are fully capable of exploding in an attempt to return to their early-season success, but recently, the Broncos have been woeful along the offensive line, and Miami’s defense is for real.

This line is almost certainly inflated by the public sentiment that the Broncos are “angry” after a down patch, and they are almost always a public team. The Dolphins have covered in four of their last five games, and getting a touchdown here just seems like too little in the way of respect.

“Hold your nose” picks are a staple in this space, but sometimes, even fading Peyton Manning is the right play.
