Josh Gordon

After all this time, the Cleveland Browns get Josh Brown back. Is it in time to propel them to the playoffs?

We all thought they were nuts to avoid picking up a legitimate replacement for Gordon when it was announced he was suspended, but they held fast using guys like Miles Austin to fill the void. It worked and while Brian Hoyer hasn’t been the second coming of Vinny Testaverde, he has been solid enough to hold the fort.

A lot of the people who feel Hoyer is ‘the guy’ were pointing towards this week when Gordon returned as the time we’ll really see what he can do. Regardless of how well Hoyer, it’s a big deal that Gordon is back. The Browns have the feel of a team which is barely holding on, yet they are definitely right there in the AFC North and could still win the division.

Gordon is a huge piece to that puzzle.
